| Reflections is a carved yellow cedar oval wall plaque, 14"X 8" based on Coastal Salish traditional artistic concepts. The two Eagles in this depiction represent freedom and vision:|
Respecting individual freedom first, the individual becomes strong and can share knowledge and respect with all Life. Vision is knowing that every decision effects at least seven generations of the people.
The duality of this piece represents a deeper reflection of self.
The central design, is representational of the four races of humankind, the four seasons and the four main directions.
The abalone in the center is the connection piece and represents the spiritual eye.
This plaque and the interpretation are the creation of the artist, Herb Rice.
